I use javascript for things that arn't vital. ie I use it for quick form validation as well as ColdFusion validation. Also its handy for little things like popup screens.

javascript does the trick for client side for sure... i have a toolbox of scripts i use too.
actually, i don't think there is anything else that would do client-side validation is there? (except for javascript)
