It looks like Tutorial 311 (a dataset like VB.net) shows how to do multiple updates. I did this tutorial using my own sample database and it worked well. I wanted to use it for my work so I didn't have to use CFGRID. However, I realized it didn't do Inserts. It just showed Edits and Deletes.
I tried to modify the tutorial but wasn't able to figure out how to do Inserts. Can this type of grid do Inserts?
Also, can you validate information using this type of grid and also pass hidden fields? I know that there's problems with validation using ColdFusion CFGRID.
